I picked up this dress in Matalan before I was even aware of it’s high end counterpart. Burberry have designed an oxblood tone print range with hearts as part of their A/W13 collection, the shirt of which Victoria Beckham was recently seen wearing. They’ve managed to transform the schoolgirl loveheart into a new power player of the print world, and now it is on the high street. The hem on this dress is slightly fluted which keeps it looking young. I think it will look great for work with a black blazer thrown on.
I wore it recently to Chris’s 30th Birthday celebration and I felt the best I have in ages. I wore it with wedges then, but I’m off out tonight with friends and Chris for a bit of a boogie so I’m feeling like it needs classy heel. That is if I can cope with heels after I’ve walked around The Cake and Bake Show for hours with Laura from Mandarin and Thyme!
